Miss Scarlett - Miss Rossella, 2016

"Miss Scarlett endure everything," Mammi said to the death of beloved Bonnie. This phrase reveals much of the temperament of Scarlett O'Hara, the protagonist of "Gone With the Wind." The first time I saw the film I was 11 years old and I liked it so much that I lost count of the times I saw it again. It is a film that speaks of love, of the many aspects of love.

Rossella is a beautiful and capricious, stubborn, ambitious, strong and courageous woman who faces life with huge energy. The daughter of a wealthy landowner, during the War of Secession, assists the veterans, Zappa the land, suffering from hunger and arrives to kill to defend itself. Always in love with the faded Ashley, the only man who has failed to conquer, is abandoned with the proposal phrase:  "Frankly I do not give a damn" by the one who adores her, the charming retth Butler. This is counterbalanced by the other famous expression that encloses the sense of nature and the act of Scarlett:  "I'll think about it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day. "   

In my work I stopped, in a series of frames, the moments, meaningful to me, of his existential parable. I beatifying her, framing her face with a crown of stars. She is a martyr and modern heroine.

“Miss Rossella soppoltale tutto” disse Mammi alla morte dell'amata Diletta. Questa frase rivela molto del temperamento di Rossella O'Hara, la protagonista di "Via col vento" . La prima volta che vidi il film avevo 11 anni e mi piacque così tanto che ho perso il conto delle volte che l'ho rivisto. E' un film che parla d'amore, dei molti aspetti dell'amore.

Rossella è una donna bellissima e capricciosa, testarda, ambiziosa, forte e coraggiosa che affronta la vita con smisurata energia. Figlia di un ricco possidente terriero, durante la guerra di secessione, assiste i reduci, zappa la terra, patisce la fame e arriva ad uccidere per difendersi. Innamorata da sempre dello sbiadito Ashley, l'unico uomo che non è riuscita a conquistare, viene abbandonata con la liquidatoria frase: " francamente me ne infischio"da colui che l'adora, il fascinoso Retth Butler. A questa fa da contraltare l'altra famosa espressione che racchiude il senso della natura e dell' agire di Rossella : "Ci penserò domani .Dopotutto domani è un altro giorno.”

Nel mio lavoro ho fermato, in una serie di frame, i momenti, per me significativi, della sua parabola esistenziale. L'ho beatifica, incorniciando il suo volto con una corona di stelle. Lei martire ed eroina moderna.
