 "Holy days " is above all an exhibition on time, a time not measured but rarefied both in the size of the ritual and in that of the holiday that is, in a city like Alghero, itself liturgy. Like the stations of the processions, in a combination that may appear hardy, a tourist who spends a week in the city feels in some way forced to pass through certain streets, for certain places, for certain beaches, as a participant of a collective ceremony to which it is Called. This temporality is accompanied by the concreteness of the religiosity of the Algheresi, which crosses in the processions the same streets of the historical city, and which has produced material and spiritual forms through which the individual is called to merge in the idea of A community. 

The set of suggestions gives life to  "Holy days ", a project for which 3 different interventions in the 3 spaces of the Galleria Bonaire are conceived as 3 autonomous paths that tell a transformation in place. Gianni Nieddu, in the only environment of Bonaire characterized by a clear symmetry, places, as if it were a small church, the stages of a way of the cross from the minimalist rigour. As an ideal path on the daily character of the loss and redemption, Roberta Filippelli tells the night, characterized by luminous references to desire and ecstasy, and a shuttle bus to be abandoned as in the boat of Charonte in Disco ride. The third environment, created by Stefano Serusi, creates an alienating call to outer space, recreating in an interior an alley of Alghero, in the twilight of red lamps as are the lampposts in the path of the processions of the Holy Week in the city .

"Holy days" è soprattutto una mostra sul tempo, un tempo non misurato ma rarefatto sia nella dimensione del rito che in quella della vacanza che è, in una città come Alghero, essa stessa liturgia. Come le stazioni delle processioni, in un accostamento che può apparire ardito, un turista che passa una settimana in città si sente in qualche modo costretto a passare per certe strade, per certi locali, per certe spiagge, come partecipe di una cerimonia collettiva a cui è chiamato. Questa temporalità è affiancata dalla concretezza della religiosità degli algheresi, che attraversa nelle processioni le stesse strade della città storica, e che ha prodotto forme materiali e spirituali attraverso cui l'individuo è chiamato a fondersi nell'idea di una comunità. 

L'insieme delle suggestioni dà vita a "Holy days", un progetto per cui 3 diversi interventi nei 3 spazi della Galleria Bonaire sono concepiti come 3 percorsi autonomi che raccontano una trasformazione in atto. Gianni Nieddu, nell'unico ambiente di Bonaire caratterizzato da una evidente simmetria, colloca, come se si trattasse di una piccola chiesa, le tappe di una Via Crucis dal rigore minimalista. Come un ideale percorso sul carattere quotidiano della perdita e della redenzione, Roberta Filippelli racconta invece la notte, caratterizzata da luminosi riferimenti al desiderio e all'estasi, e da un bus navetta a cui abbandonarsi come nella barca di Caronte nel tragitto in discoteca. Il terzo ambiente, realizzato da Stefano Serusi, crea uno straniante richiamo allo spazio esterno, ricreando in un interno un vicolo di Alghero, nella penombra di lampade velate di rosso come lo sono i lampioni nel percorso delle processioni della Settimana santa in città.
